PLYMOUTH, MICH. – A Plymouth children’s dentist recently invited patients and their families to his practice for a special summer celebration.
Dr. Gary Feucht, owner of Plymouth Dentistry, said the June 20th event drew in several patients and community members. This was the first time the office had held an event for patients.
“We were thrilled at the response, and we were happy to treat our dedicated patients and local community members to a fun-filled day of great food and family activities,” Dr. Feucht said.
The summer patient-appreciation party included free food, face painting, bounce house, a clown making balloon animals and a 90-minute magic show for the kids. Participants also played bag toss and a life-size Jenga game and were awarded prizes throughout the day.
Dr. Feucht and his staff also introduced several of the children to “Mr. Chuckles,” the Plymouth dental office practice mascot that teaches youngsters about the importance of oral health. “Mr. Chuckles” makes local appearance throughout the year at schools and children’s organizations and provides special goodie bags to every child he meets.
Dr. Feucht said he was pleased with the response to the event and is eager to begin planning the next patient-appreciation event.
“In addition to providing exceptional oral health care for Plymouth residents, we want to find new ways to engage the community and improve people’s overall oral health,” Dr. Feucht said. “By finding new ways to promote oral health awareness, we hope to make our community happier and healthier.”
Dr. Feucht’s practice, Plymouth Dentistry, offers comprehensive services in general dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, TMJ treatment and sedation dentistry. He also works closely with a surgeon to provide patients with missing teeth durable and long-lasting dental implants. His Plymouth dental practice uses the latest technology, including digital X-rays; soft-tissue lasers; digital panorex; DIAGNOdent to detect tiny cavities; intraoral cameras and computer monitors in every operatory for patient education. The staff offers comfortable patient amenities and routinely takes patients’ blood pressure during visits.
Plymouth Dentistry uses in-office whitening treatments to brighten teeth in as little as 30 minutes. Dr. Feucht also offers a Whitening for Life program. When patients receive Dr. Feucht’s whitening treatment, they can have free touch-ups for life as long as they keep their regular dental cleanings and have been a patient of Plymouth Dentistry for 18 months or longer.
Dr. Feucht, who has been in practice for more than 35 years, graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1978 and started his own practice in 1983. Dr. Feucht is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and regularly participates in health fairs, community events and kids’ programs at local schools.
