PLYMOUTH, MI – Dr. Gary Feucht, a leading children’s dentist in Plymouth, Michigan, will host a Halloween party this month for the entire community.
The open house is set for Oct. 30 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Plymouth Dentistry, Dr. Feucht’s comprehensive dental practice. The event will include trick-or-treating in the office operatories and even a special haunted hall for those who dare to enter.
Dr. Feucht encourages guests to dress in their Halloween costumes and enjoy the food and refreshments at the office.
“Hopefully this will be an opportunity for children to know that they can have fun at the dentist, and we’re really looking forward to seeing everyone get into the Halloween spirit,” Dr. Feucht said.
Dr. Feucht feels Halloween is an important time to spread tips about good oral hygiene. His office recommends that children limit their daily sugar intake and stay away from sticky candies, which are known to increase the risk of tooth decay.
This is the first year for Dr. Feucht’s Halloween event. Dr. Feucht said he launched the program to give patients and children a safe and fun spot for trick-or-treating. Plymouth Dentistry regularly hosts family events and works with local organizations and schools to promote good oral health. The practice is known for its mascot, Mr. Chuckles, who teaches children about the importance of brushing and flossing their teeth.
“With all of our events and programs, our goal is to give patients a new view of dentistry and to help make the community a healthier place,” Dr. Feucht said.
Plymouth Dentistry offers comprehensive services in general dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and TMJ treatment. He also works closely with a surgeon to provide durable and long-lasting dental implants for patients with missing teeth. His Plymouth dental practice uses the latest technology, including digital X-rays; soft-tissue lasers; digital panorex; DIAGNOdent to detect tiny cavities; intraoral cameras and computer monitors in every operatory for patient education. The staff offers comfortable patient amenities and routinely takes patients’ blood pressure during visits.
Plymouth Dentistry uses in-office whitening treatments to brighten teeth in as little as 30 minutes. Dr. Feucht also offers a Whitening for Life program. When patients receive Dr. Feucht’s whitening treatment, they can have free touch-ups for life as long as they keep their regular dental cleanings and have been a patient of Plymouth Dentistry for 18 months or longer.
Dr. Feucht, who has been in practice for more than 35 years, graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1978 and started his own practice in 1983. Dr. Feucht is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and regularly participates in health fairs, community events and kids’ programs at local schools. Some of Dr. Feucht’s dental hygienists and staff members have been with his practice for more than two decades.
